Please follow the instructions in this FAQ to do so:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/6977\/configure-axis-camera-work-device-manager\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">How To Configure Your Axis Camera To Work With Device ManageR<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Once you&#8217;ve configured your camera with a motion event, your camera will send notifications to Device ManageR over TCP port 8085 when it detects motion.<\/p>\n<h3>Step 2: Configure a motion alert in Device ManageR.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1. Open Device ManageR in your web browser. You may open it by entering &#8216;localhost:8080&#8217; or &#8216;&lt;IP address of host system&gt;:8080&#8217; in your browser&#8217;s address bar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">2. If you haven&#8217;t already, discover your Axis camera. You may do so using Device ManageR&#8217;s Advanced Discovery feature. This FAQ shows you how:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/136\/how-to-discover-avtech-devices-with-device-manager\/#advanced_discovery\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">How To Discover AVTECH Devices With Device ManageR &#8211; Advanced Discovery<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">3. Once your camera appears in the Discovered Devices list, select it and enter the username and password in the fields provided.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">4. To begin configuring your alert,\u00a0select <strong>Alerts \/ Tasks<\/strong> in the navigation bar to the left of your screen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">5. Then select <strong>Alerts<\/strong> from the <em>Alerts \/ Tasks<\/em> menu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">6. Select <strong>Add<\/strong> at the bottom of <em>Alerts<\/em> screen to open the <em>Add New Alert<\/em> window.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">7. In <em>Name<\/em>, enter a name for your alert. We&#8217;re calling ours &#8216;Alert On Axis Motion.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">8. In <em>Description<\/em>, you may enter any notes you feel would be helpful to explain the alert.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">9. In <em>Device<\/em>, choose your Axis camera from the drop-down menu. In our example, we&#8217;ve selected a camera called &#8216;AVTECH &#8211; 2nd Floor North.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">10. In <em>Alarm when the sensor reading for<\/em>, select the choice ending in\u00a0<strong>-Motion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">11. In <em>Action \/ Notification List<\/em>, select your Action \/ Notification list. Here, we&#8217;re choosing our &#8216;Email Security&#8217; list.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">12.
