This FAQ shows you how:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/11016\/enable-external-light-tower-relay-switch-room-alert-monitor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">How To Enable Your External Light Tower Or Relay Switch In Your Room Alert Monitor<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Your Light Tower will not appear in Device Manager until you first enable it in your Room Alert.<\/p>\n<h3><a class=\"wpsal-anchor\" name=\"set_up_light_tower_actions\" id=\"set_up_light_tower_actions\"><\/a>Setting Up Light Tower Actions In Device ManageR<\/h3>\n<p>To set up Light Tower actions in Device ManageR, follow the steps below.&nbsp;<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We&#8217;re going to set up four actions in our example: one to turn on the Light Tower\u2019s red light and one to turn it off; one to turn on the Light Tower\u2019s green light, and one to turn it off.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1. Open Device ManageR in your web browser. You may open it by entering \u2018localhost:8080\u2019 or \u2018&lt;IP address of Device ManageR\u2019s host system&gt;:8080\u2019 in your browser\u2019s address bar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2. Select<strong> Alerts \/ Tasks<\/strong> in the navigation bar to the left.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">3. In the <\/span><em style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Alerts \/ Tasks<\/em><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\"> menu, select <\/span><strong style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Actions.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">4.&nbsp;Select <strong>Add<\/strong> to add your first action.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/ADM_Add_New_Action_Button.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5419\" src=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/ADM_Add_New_Action_Button.png\" alt=\"ADM_Add_New_Action_Button\" width=\"600\" height=\"183\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/ADM_Add_New_Action_Button.png 1086w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/ADM_Add_New_Action_Button-300x91.png 300w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/ADM_Add_New_Action_Button-768x234.png 768w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/ADM_Add_New_Action_Button-1024x312.png 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">5. In the <em>Add New Action<\/em>&nbsp;window:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">&#8211;&nbsp;In <em>Name<\/em>, enter a name for the action. In our example, we\u2019ve called the action \u2018Light Tower &#8211; Red Light On\u2019<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">&#8211; (Optional) In <em>Description<\/em>, you may enter any notes you feel would be helpful to explain the action.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">&#8211;&nbsp;<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In <em>Action Type<\/em>, select the action you wish to execute from the drop-down list. Once you select the action type, options unique to that action will appear. In this example, we\u2019re choosing <strong>Toggle Signal Tower or Relay<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; In <em>Device<\/em>, choose your Room Alert.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; In <em>Toggle the<\/em>, choose the feature you wish to toggle. In our example, we\u2019re choosing<strong> LTA 1 &#8211;&nbsp;Red Light<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; Then choose <strong>On<\/strong> or <strong>Off<\/strong>. For our first action, we\u2019re choosing <strong>On<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; In <em>If not successful, retry this Action<\/em>, you may leave the default, 0, or enter a higher number.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; (Optional) If you wish, you may associate a schedule with this action by selecting <strong>Optional Schedule<\/strong> and choosing a schedule from the drop-down list.
