This means that your account is no longer receiving the most up-to-date sensor data from the device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are a number of factors that can cause your device to stop pushing to RoomAlert.com. This usually means that the sensor was physically disconnected from the Room Alert Monitor.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"su-spoiler su-spoiler-style-fancy su-spoiler-icon-plus Pushing&#8217; alert on your:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li> <strong>Device<\/strong>: to notify you if your RoomAlert.com account stops receiving all push data from your Room Alert Monitor. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> <strong>Sensor<\/strong>: to notify you if your RoomAlert.com account stops receiving  data for an individual sensor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"su-tabs-pane su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\" data-title=\"Best practices\">\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Device<\/strong>: We recommend setting up a <em>Not Pushing<\/em> alert on your Room Alert Monitor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Why?<\/strong> If the device stops pushing, then your RoomAlert.com account will not receive any updated sensor data. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sensors (Internal)<\/strong>: It&#8217;s usually not necessary to set up <em>Not Pushing<\/em> alerts on your device&#8217;s internal sensors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Why?<\/strong> As long as your device is pushing data to the account, all of its enabled internal sensors should be pushing too.\n<ul>\n<li> Depending on the Room Alert model, these include the device&#8217;s internal digital sensors, internal analog sensors and switch sensors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sensors (External)<\/strong>: It&#8217;s a good idea to set up <em>Not Pushing<\/em> alerts on external digital sensors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Why?<\/strong> This way, you&#8217;ll know if your sensor becomes disconnected from the Room Alert Monitor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"su-spoiler su-spoiler-style-fancy su-spoiler-icon-plus su-spoiler-closed\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\" class=\"su-spoiler-icon\"><\/span>Timing of the alert<\/div><div class=\"su-spoiler-content su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\">\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that your device or sensor will read as <em>Not Pushing<\/em> once it has missed<strong> two scheduled pushes<\/strong> to your RoomAlert.com account. Because scheduled pushes occur at one hour intervals after the last successful push, the alert will take approximately 2 hours to trigger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Need to be notified sooner?
