in this section, you define who gets notified and how.<br><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2414\" height=\"529\" class=\"wp-image-29849\" style=\"width: 750px;\" src=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/NotificationAction.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/NotificationAction.png 2414w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/NotificationAction-300x66.png 300w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/NotificationAction-1024x224.png 1024w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/NotificationAction-768x168.png 768w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/NotificationAction-1536x337.png 1536w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/NotificationAction-2048x449.png 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2414px) 100vw, 2414px\" \/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select an existing <strong>Notification Group<\/strong> or click <strong>Create New Group<\/strong>.\n<ul>\n<li>If you&#8217;re creating a new group, add as many recipients as you want in a single notification group.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You may add notification methods like emailing a user on the account or another email address, sending SMS to a user with mobile number saved to their account, sending push notifications to a user with the mobile app installed, and sending an HTTP Post.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>(<em>Optional for Professional level accounts and higher<\/em>), you may also configure the following:\n<ul>\n<li><em>Delay <\/em>the notifications.\n<ul>\n<li> Set an interval to wait. The notification will only send if the alert is still triggered after the delay period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Configure the action to <em>Repeat<\/em>.\n<ul>\n<li>This send reminder notifications while an alert remains triggered and unacknowledged.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the interval at which you&#8217;d like the reminders to send.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you&#8217;d like, you can set a maximum number of reminders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apply a saved or new <em>Quiet Time<\/em> Schedule.\n<ul>\n<li>This defines times when the notifications should <strong>not <\/strong>get sent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apply a saved or new <em>Message Template<\/em>.\n<ul>\n<li>Edit the contents of the email or SMS message sent when the alert triggers and clears.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>(<em>Optional for Professional level accounts and higher<\/em>) Repeat step 2 &amp; 3 to add additional actions to your alert.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<br><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"121\" height=\"82\" class=\"wp-image-29847\" style=\"width: 60px;\" src=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/NEXT.png\" alt=\"\"><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Finally, define your alert details.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>The <em>Alert Details<\/em> section appears next.<br><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2402\" height=\"598\" class=\"wp-image-29850\" style=\"width: 750px;\" src=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/FinallyStep.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/FinallyStep.png 2402w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/FinallyStep-300x75.png 300w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/FinallyStep-1024x255.png 1024w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/FinallyStep-768x191.png 768w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/FinallyStep-1536x382.png 1536w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/FinallyStep-2048x510.png 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2402px) 100vw, 2402px\" \/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter or edit the <strong>Alert Name<\/strong> (a suggested naming convention is provided).\n<ul>\n<li>If you are creating multiple alerts, it&#8217;s important to include Keywords to ensure your alerts get unique names.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>(<em>Optional<\/em>) Add an existing <strong>Tag<\/strong> or type to create a new tag.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confirm or adjust the <strong>Timezone<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>(<em>Optional<\/em>) Include additional sensor readings in notifications for extra context.\n<ul>\n<li>If you are creating multiple alerts, additional sensors cannot be linked at this step.
