{"id":5175,"date":"2016-07-21T15:57:02","date_gmt":"2016-07-21T19:57:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/?p=5175"},"modified":"2025-01-06T13:04:07","modified_gmt":"2025-01-06T18:04:07","slug":"red-x-means-room-alert-monitor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/5175\/red-x-means-room-alert-monitor\/","title":{"rendered":"What A Red X Means On A Room Alert Monitor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the Room Alert Monitor web interface,\u00a0the following icons indicate the status of each of the unit&#8217;s individual sensors:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; A gray circle or no circle means there are no thresholds configured on the Room Alert Monitor for that sensor.<br \/>\n&#8211; A check mark or green circle <a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Green-CheckMark.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5181\" src=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Green-CheckMark.png\" alt=\"Green CheckMark\" width=\"15\" height=\"15\" \/><\/a>\u00a0means the sensor is in a clear state: it has not passed any threshold configured on the Room Alert Monitor.<br \/>\n&#8211; An X or red circle\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Red-X.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5182\" src=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Red-X.png\" alt=\"Red X\" width=\"15\" height=\"15\" \/><\/a>\u00a0means the sensor is in an alarm state: it has passed a threshold configured on the Room Alert Monitor.<\/p>\n<p>To view the sensor icons:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1. Open your Room Alert Monitor\u2019s web interface. You may open the interface using Device Discovery, Device ManageR, or your account at <a href=\"http:\/\/roomalert.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RoomAlert.com<\/a>. You may also type the IP address of the unit directly into the address bar of your web browser.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">2. The icons will appear next to the sensors in the <em>Status<\/em> page, as shown below:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Status_Page.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5176\" src=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Status_Page.png\" alt=\"Status_Page\" width=\"450\" height=\"353\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Status_Page.png 641w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Status_Page-300x235.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">In this image, you can observe the following:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">&#8211;
