In order for your 3rd-party SNMP application to properly read the data from your Room Alert Monitor, you’ll need the MIB files.<\/p>\n

You may find MIB files for current Room Alert models (Room Alert 32S, 12S, 3S, 32E\/W, 12E, 4E and 3E)<\/a> in the unit’s web interface in the Settings\u2192SNMP <\/strong>page.<\/p>\n

You may find MIB files for legacy models (Room Alert 26W, 24E, 11E & 7E and TemPageR 4E & 3E)<\/a> in the Downloads\u2192<\/strong>Legacy <\/strong>page of your account at\u00a0RoomAlert.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Before you begin:<\/h4>\n

Update your Room Alert Monitor to the latest firmware version. This FAQ shows you how: How To Update Firmware On Room Alert Monitors<\/a>.<\/p>\n

To download the MIB file for your current Room Alert model:<\/h4>\n

1. Open your Room Alert Monitor\u2019s web interface. For instructions, please see our FAQ, How To Open Your Room Alert Monitor\u2019s Built-in Web Interface<\/a>.<\/p>\n

3. Select Settings<\/strong> in the navigation bar to the left.<\/p>\n

4. Then select SNMP<\/strong> from the Settings<\/em> menu.<\/p>\n

5. In the SNMP Settings<\/em> page, select the Download SNMP MIB File<\/strong> link to download a .zip file of the MIBs.<\/p>\n

6. Save the .zip file somewhere you can easily locate.<\/p>\n

– The .zip file will be named “RAXXX-MIB.zip,” where XXX is your Room Alert model number.<\/p>\n

– Example: RA32E-MIB.zip.<\/p>\n

7. Extract the contents of the .zip using a compression program like 7-Zip, WinZip or WinRar.<\/p>\n

– The resulting .mib file will be named ROOMALERTXXX.mib, where XXX is your Room Alert model number.<\/p>\n

– Example: ROOMALERT32E.mib.<\/p>\n

8. You may now load the .mib file into your 3rd-party SNMP program.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Legacy models include the Room Alert 26W, 24E, 11E & 7E and TemPageR 4E & 3E.<\/p>\n

You may download the MIB files for all legacy models from the\u00a0Downloads<\/strong>\u2192Legacy<\/strong> tab of your Room Alert Account.<\/p>\n

– You should also update your Room Alert monitor or TemPageR to the latest firmware version in order for your unit to be compatible with the current MIBs.\u00a0This FAQ shows you how:\u00a0How To Update Firmware On Room Alert Monitors<\/a>.<\/p>\n

To download the legacy model MIBs:<\/h4>\n

1. Select the Downloads<\/strong> tab from the navigation bar to the left.<\/p>\n

2. Then select Legacy<\/strong> in the Downloads<\/em> page.<\/p>\n

3. Under\u00a0AVTECH SNMP MIBs,<\/em> select the green Download<\/strong> button to download a .zip file of all legacy MIBs.<\/p>\n

4. Save the .zip file somewhere you can easily locate.<\/p>\n

– The .zip file will be named “Room_Alert_TemPageR_SNMP_MIBs.zip.”<\/p>\n

5. Extract the contents of the .zip using a compression program like 7-Zip, WinZip or WinRar.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0You’ll now see 6 individual .mib files, one for each legacy model.<\/p>\n

– Choose the .mib that matches your model.<\/p>\n
