To be recognized among businesses nationwide as a best place to work speaks to our commitment to our team, and our goal of providing one of the best places to work in Rhode Island and the surrounding area.<\/p>\n<p>The Interise annual StreetWise Summit Small Business awards recognize the outstanding achievement of small business owners who are redefining the relationship between company and community. AVTECH has been a strong supporter of our local Warren community, and the greater Rhode Island community as well. Since acquiring the Cutler Mill in 2008, AVTECH has helped to provide jobs to well over 100 people, in addition to bringing <a href=\"http:\/\/tomsmarket.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tom\u2019s Market<\/a>\u00a0to the mill which helped fill the need for a local grocery store that had been missing from the area for years.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.interise.org\/summit-awards\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8883\" src=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Vote_AVTECH_Button.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"230\" height=\"60\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Our encouraging work environment<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Being nominated for the \u201cBest Place to Work\u201d award is particularly gratifying for us, as nominees have shown to have a strong work culture where the employees love to be.
